Moments after I got out to the band and snapped this golden pic of half-hidden Bia, the sun vanished behind clouds, just above the horizon.
Today starts fourth rifle season, and while after the chaos of last season, it can’t be worse, already drivers are up and down once again. So many weeks of peace and quiet don’t prepare us, ever, for the misery of driving seasons. It’ll soon all be (mostly) over.
I imagine these last two rifle seasons always seem like an eternity out there. So glad the end is in view. I love that soft, golden light in this photo, TJ.
It really does seem nearly interminable, especially now that they returned to the long season (two days longer than the last few years). Argh.
I hope everyone (human & equine) make it through safely.
Hate “hunting” season!
So far, so good. We’re in the beginning of the last main rifle season. I hate that they just drive up and down the roads!
What a great picture! Hope everyone stays safe during hunting season! Glad it’s almost over!
Me, too, for sure!
