Sunlit and windblown

Terra (and her stallion) circles the water trough while the “upper” members of the band drink first. They were impatient, but there was plenty for everyone.

Now we start to enter the truly hot days of summer, and water is at a premium. We’re grateful for the recent rains that put (more) water in the catchment tanks!

Unfortunately, our forecast is completely devoid of any kind of precipitation at all – literally 0% chance for the foreseeable future! And the heat has descended. … We’re still hoping! More will come … eventually!

Beautiful Terra. Love these mustangs-on-the-run photos you take, TJ, and this one is no exception!

They very rarely are doing anything but grazing around me, so I don’t have many opportunities to get them “galloping like mustangs”! 🙂

I’m SO relieved about the extra water in the catchment tanks. 🙂 And I love to see the horses taking advantage of that fresh, clean water!
