Having trotted past part of the band, Skywalker turns his attention to the horses that have already dropped down into the drainage ahead and are grazing their way up the other side.
He looks pretty studly, there, doesn’t he? Outlined in lovely light against the hills across Spring Creek Basin that form part of Disappointment Valley’s southwestern boundary.

🥰 “Studly” is the word, TJ! He’s simply gorgeous. Poor baby sure has a lot of battle scars after all these years…and no girls to show for it. Maybe someday some of those mares will realize what they’re missing! 😁
He has returned to the band he was following with Sancho (who never left them). Seems a bit more “aggressive” now, so it will be interesting to watch! Sancho never seems bothered; just goes with the flow, happy to be with his family of several years. 🙂
