This is one of Sundance’s mares. I was exploring the patterns outlined by the light on the horses while the hill immediately behind them was already shadowed by the very low/late light. This one worked out pretty well, and she was more alert to my presence, at the edge of a narrow but deep arroyo. I simply love rimlighting!
