The fires are far from me, but my granddaughter had to evacuate, not from fire, but dense smoke. Her parents (my son, daughter-in-law) and my other son are about 50 miles from a fire. Praying for everyone and animals . I’m donating to the Red Cross.
Oh, I’m glad they’re not very close to the fires … but I had been wondering about the smoke. I bet it’s all just horrendous. I’ve seen great stories about people helping each other and animals. It’s hard (impossible) to imagine the scale of devastation to lives. Prayers to everyone, indeed, and a donation to the Red Cross is a great idea!
