Flash pauses on high ground while his mares continue on to water at a pond back in late December.
There were a few spots of snow on the ground, still, then. We have a bit of snow in our forecast for tomorrow morning. Clouds were low most of yesterday (a lot like those pictured), and mountains already were getting some to maybe a decent snowfall. Cross your fingers; Flash and his mares and the rest of the herd need some winter moisture!
Flash is certainly looking the part of a proud, band stallion these days! He’s quite dashing and still hanging on to some of his unique markings. He’s a gorgeous boy!
It’s crazy (even to me) how much he has greyed out. Ha. He definitely is taking to his band stallion role well. 🙂
Wow, handsome as ever and so grown up ! Not much moisture here either but we’re all certainly due !
Indeed – and he thinks so, too. 😉 We got a tiny little skiff of very dry snow this morning! It’s gone now … and didn’t even make the ground damp. We need a LOT more moisture!
Flash is a very good looker! Hope you get snow!
He’s a pretty handsome young fella. 🙂 We got a tiny bit of snow that was gone by late morning. I did get some pix with snowy *backgrounds* that will be coming up soon. Ha – we need a lot more. I found today that one pond that had had water is now dry.
A solid mustang!
