Maia makes her way down a dusty trail to Spring Creek to drink from surprisingly still-trickling rivulets and pools of water in the arroyo. We finally have some rain in the forecast for Friday. We’re crossing all collective fingers, toes and braided manes.
The very essence of our year caught in this beautiful photo, TJ. Dusty, dry, desperate for moisture. And yes, supposedly Friday we’re supposed to see some rain. We’re praying.
And just as rain is in the forecast, the oh-so-helpful U.S. Drought Monitor put us in the “abnormally dry” category. 🙂 Ha. I think they’re at least two categories behind where we actually are. … The dust makes for moody pix, but I’d sure love to see some rain!
Hope the rain is coming! This would make a really hard puzzle!
Me, too. We’ve been almost a month without rain. It would be super hard!
Wow!!!
🙂
It looks like heaven
