Alegre stopped behind this dead pinon or juniper, as if to “hide,” but then her attention was caught by other members of her band, which gave me time to focus on her lovely white-lashed obsidian eye.

Oh, man, some of those gnarly old junipers and pinons are really just priceless art sculptures! It was cool to try to juxtapose one of those with a mustang. 🙂

what an a usual photograph. Very artistic. I pulled up her eye to look at it closely, and I see that her pupil is looking at you and your camera, though her head is pointed the other direction 😊
