And just like that, on a glorious fall evening, in Spring Creek Basin, a couple of gettin’-fuzzy wild ponies stole the show, minutes before the sun faded to shade, and I hit the shutter on possibly one of my favorite pix ever.
Juniper and Storm. Sweetest of wild hearts.
This is such a wonderful photo, TJ! It’s so amazing – and touching – to see the bonds and the affection these beautiful wild creatures have for one another. Mustangs rock! 🥰
I *see* this a lot with the stallions and mares, but a lot of times, I’m at the wrong angle. This one all came together with gorgeous ponies. 🙂
Beautiful! What a lovely couple they are! This is one of your very best photos, TJ!
They totally are. 🙂 Thanks, Karen!
Aw, so sweet.
I was so glad to get that bit of interaction. 🙂
SUCH a couple and you caught it!
I spent a lot of time with them, just soaking in the low sunshine while they grazed and offered no photos … then Juniper wandered back to Storm as if to say, “All right, pal, let’s get going to water.” I’m glad they paused for some flirting! 🙂
Beautiful!!!
Aren’t they just the most beautiful couple? 🙂
Perfect.
Such a show of affection 🙂
They’ve been together for quite a few years now. 🙂 Affection knows no time limits.
