We’re starting to see the lower-elevation signs of autumn (which began Saturday, by the way): snake weed and rabbitbrush flowering golden, ponies just starting to add some velvet to their coats.
I agree, TJ – “a beautiful time of year.” My favorite time. And yes, the rabbitbrush is gorgeous, and the light…oh that autumn light. Light you have captured so well in today’s photo. Beautiful.

I love it all. Relief as we slide into cooler days and colder nights. 🙂 The horses must like it, too, though the bugs still seem to be around?!
