Buckeye’s band waits their turn while one band drinks at the catchment trough after the first band heads out to graze.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Mustangs have an extremely highly elevated sense of etiquette. There was no pushing and shoving, and while there might have been some reminders, drink time proceeded calmly and with utmost order.
So, in addition to all the other wonderful things that characterize mustangs, they are polite and well- mannered…of course they are! π
Of course they do. π It’s been one of the most consistent observations I’ve had these many years.
Its a shame humans are unable to conduct themselves with the same etiquette! And we should be ashamed!
We humans are flawed. For all that we have (in general) great/large brains … we don’t always use them very well.
So glad the horses have a source of fresh water! They do have better manners than a lot of people!
Oh, you and me both – glad they have access to fresh water. They definitely take advantage of it. I give thanks every day for Mike’s foresight in building them … and those who came before for the original two. And yes, manners. It’s amazing what we can learn from mustangs. π
I’m so glad they have this water. I also admire their understanding of each other. And even more than THAT I admire their peaceful profiles. Too bad about that western artist thing…
π What’s not to love about mustangs??!
That is good! Glad to have catchment .
Let’s have rain!
C’mon, rain!!!!!
Iβve seen that time and time again in all the mustang HMO. Their unspoken rules of taking turns never ceases to amaze me!!! Better than with some humans.

Agreed. π
