I think we missed it – or it missed us? 😦 Of the several days of good chances, those days dwindled out of the forecast and are now gone. We got about 0.05 inch and a “trace.” Some places got more than others, and I hope the basin got a good share, but anything I saw was short-lived, isolated and sporadic. ARGH! Maybe more chances later?
That is such a cool photo, TJ! That pretty rainbow and at its foot a gorgeous, perfectly positioned, mustang “pot of gold.” I love it! But I would love it even more if rain had been part of that scene. Yesterday was a bust for us too – nada.
I was stoked to line Kestrel up with the rainbow. 🙂 She’s pure gold, the kind that lasts even after the rain and rainbow. … And no kidding, I sure we’d actually gotten some decent rain.
Come on rain 💦🌈

The treasure at the end of the rainbow!!
The treasure, indeed. 🙂

Better than a pot of gold any day! Hoping for rain!
True, that, and thanks for the hopes! We’re hoping, too, but so far, they’re pretty dashed hopes.
I love this photo!! 💖
Thanks, Carol. 🙂
Perfect!!

She’s quite a gal, our Kestrel. 🙂
Beautiful, beautiful. We got rain yesterday. Not a deluge, no ark building, but rain is rain…
Agreed! I’m so glad for ya’ll! Super isolated here, and Disappointment Valley and Spring Creek Basin appear to be outside the fortunate areas.
The color of horse and light could not be better!
I so completely agree. 🙂
