The queenly grey ladies of Spring Creek Basin. Thick as peas in a pod. I wonder what they’re thinking.

They’re beautiful girls. And so fortunate to be where they are! Wish the rest of the BLM were the kind of guys that work on your HMA. At this rate, Spring Basin & the Pryors seem to be the only ones left pretty much alone. So many are being taken away from their homes every day.

Maia is Alegre’s daughter. Houdini and Alpha, Alegre’s presumed dam, were in Grey/Traveler’s band years and years ago, but I don’t know whether they’re related.

What a great group photo of the Basin’s grande dames! And a gorgeous trio they are.

They are! And they make it terribly difficult to get pix of them all! Especially together. 🙂 I love the trying.

{Thinking opiont} “Did you get the picture? How much longer do we need to stand still, not blink and look like we are smiling??” – 😀

Ha! They never stand still very long! That they did at that moment, with that sweet light, was such a blessing. 🙂
