Spring Creek Basin Mustangs
They call the wind Mariah, and Makani. Three years ago, on the day Mariah’s filly Makani was born, Hokule`a began her sail around the world. Today Hokule`a came home, returning safely to Hawaiian waters, ushered along by the wind. And here coincidentally is the mustang Mariah again, representing, like the canoe, fortitude and freedom.
Such a beauty!!! My nephew’s son is named Makana. 😉
Makana means gift. Beautiful name!
