The snow on those ridges in the background is rapidly disappearing under our sunshine and near-80-degree temperatures.
It’s just March. It feels like June. Gettin’ scary.
Happy first day of spring!

Isn’t she a looker! Spring is here, but like there we have been in the 80’s also. We went from raincoats to shorts. Crazy! Rain is in the forecast for the middle of this week, I hope it makes it to Spring Creek Basin.
Happy Spring to everyone! Hope people and animals have a great season!
He is just turning out so beautifully (love those lips!). And the whole story of our winter-to-spring weather–from snow in the high (back-) ground to mud on his legs–it’s all there in one glorious TJ photo.
More moisture for our ponies, please!
You are right, TJ – it IS “gettin’ scary” out there! Awfully dry. But things do look to be changing late this week and into the next – a spate of unsettled weather. Here’s hoping. If nothing else, maybe we can at least have some cooler temps for us and the mustangs! Is that gorgeous girl Tesora?
Oops, as per Kat – she is a HE, so I still don’t know my horses very well! 🙂
Kat is quite capable of being wrong, as TJ can attest!
🙂 🙂
Well, “he” is, in fact a she … but it’s not Tesora. 🙂 That’s Gaia!
Sue Story: See, she attested!
Great color!
Well…at least I got the gender right! We could all use a class in the Spring Creek Basin mustangs – color and gender- presented by none other than TJ herself! 🙂
