We were walking – slowly – in mud. The far ridges were still covered in snow. We’ve dried out a bit since this photo was taken, but wet stuff is high in our forecast. And we’re lovin’ it!

Spring Creek Basin Mustangs 
Moisture is good for the Basin to grow the variety of plants the mustangs need to thrive. It has always amazed me to sit and watch a horse eat. A chomp here, move on to a nibble there. Such a healthy variety.
So great to see them up close :-).
Pinto ponies taking on the mud and looking good! Hope the forecasts for weekend moisture are true and even more mud will become available for pinto ponies to walk through!
