Pretty Raven with her sweet face. She wasn’t very interested in posing for photos. Green is coming up throughout Spring Creek Basin after our good winter snow and now warmish temperatures, and seeking those fresh blades is much more important to the ponies – and all wildlife!
Sweet look. Glad the grass is emerging and hopefully rain will come but not to soon!
We got a crazy little moisture system last night … low, low valley and mid-valley. Always thankful for the tiniest drops.
Such a sweet, pretty girl, and TJ, so glad a little rain fell out there. We’re beginning to look a lot like drought again here – no moisture, daily wind. Hope it doesn’t last for us OR arrive out where the mustangs are!
Too late. It’s pretty dry again. It is the (high) desert, after all … but we deserve a little rain now and then! 🙂
Thank-you so much for this photo of Raven! Been hoping to see her for a long while now. These weather patterns are crazy – February was really warm and March is just windy and dry so far. If any fronts do come this way, we hope they drop any moisture there in SCB first! 🙂
Yikes – windy and warm and dry here, too. Maybe some more by the end of the week … or maybe it will miss us. Fickle weather! 🙂
There’s my girl. Patience pays off. She’s looking healthy. 🙂
Patience does pay off! I hadn’t forgotten your request; this was the first time I’d visited them near enough to take pix! You should know … she was the least cooperative. 🙂
Oh I like that about her. (I’m always drawn to those types:) )
