Pretty, pretty Piedra.
It’s not so hot (yet), but it’s dry. It’s windy. It’s dusty. It’s smoky (yes, prescribed burns are happening – at least three contributing to a hazy sky over Disappointment Valley); in some pix to come, you’ll see the effects. Rumor has it that Southwest Colorado should get spring rain. It’s April. We’re ready, already.
Oh, yeah. And the gnats are here. Already.
** Update: We have rain in the forecast! Now to hope it stays in the forecast. The last day I saw rain in the forecast, it was out of the forecast the very next day.

Piedra is always beautiful! Praying for rain, it will provide much needed water and clear the air of smoke and haze.
