With “auntie” Puzzle and mama Shadow, Tesora is as safe as a wild baby can be. They’re watching Grey/Traveler’s band and Sundance’s band. Mariah had wandered over to play with Mysterium and Skywalker for a little bit until Sundance decided play time was over.

Despite the lack of rain, we do have green and grass. I’d like to GET some rain to keep it that way. W
We started a fertility control program in 2011 at the roundup (followed up that winter). This is the first year to see results. Some of the April and May foalers were removed, and we have mares that foal into September. So far, so good. I’m watching a few mares right now: Reya, Raven, Roja and Kootenai, specifically. Kootenai last foaled the end of August, but she’s bigger than Raven, who is now a couple of days past due.
