Had *wonderful* visits with Hollywood, Piedra and baby Bri last week. Am delayed getting out to the basin by much-needed rain and snow (!) – moisture – so I was able to get to some more pix today that might have been pushed off even further!
Here are some pix from the first visit:
She’s a bit of an independent girl.
Daddy Hollywood
She made a few overtures to daddy …
He wasn’t overtly interested in her, but he just seemed to “quiet” … I don’t know how to explain it, but I’ve seen it in all the stallions when the babies are near. Careful. Gentle.
Family π
Many with mama Piedra, of course …
Little darling girl!

I’ve loved this little one since I saw the first pictures of her! She has the same exact facial markings, feet, and color of one of the horses my grandpa used to own- Sparky. In fact, they’re identicle in every way! I’m never seen two horses who looked so alike!
Calendar pix are coming thick and fast! Bri certainly “strikes a pose”. So darling!
The dark clouds raced over Farmington at amazing speed toward an unusual direction – the Northwest. We didn’t get a drop, but I was hoping there’d be precip on the basin.
Thanks, TJ for these wonderful shots of this family!! Briosa (“Bri”) looks so much like her Dad, Hollywood, and she seems so sure of herself in these images – love them!! She’s going to be a real beauty – just look at her parents!! π
Wow, Rochlia, that’s super cool!
Linda – I expected to have trouble getting into the basin Thursday … but it was completely dry. Looked like there was some moisture … but I don’t know how much. Looked like more as I left yesterday …
Lynn & Kathy – I would have to agree completely!
