Who is this gorgeous little filly??
She’s curious and has a very new baby’s joy in absolutely everything!
She’s Chipeta’s girl, of course!
How cute is she!?
Proud mama
Look at those gorgeous long legs!

Welcome to your beautiful world, baby girl!

Beautiful baby- so many spots!
She just stole my heart! She’s absolutley gorgeous! TJ, how will she do this winter? Do the babies born late in the summer have it harder then those born earlier?
I like that she’s her mama’s red bay – unusual for our pintos.
We’ll just have to wait and see, as far as winter goes. Hayden was born later in September last year, and he did just fine. Chipeta’s colt, Joven, was born in July last year, but he died at about 2 weeks (unknown-to-me cause). However, I would say that yes, the late babies have it tougher than the little ones that are born in the spring and are able to enjoy the long, warm days of summer so conducive to growing! Still, maybe the late babies grow up tougher, having to be “tougher” sooner?! It’s nature. We’re just observers. 🙂
Thanks TJ for the answers. I’ve only been following your blog since March, so this’ll be the first winter I see for the horses.
awwwww….. what a sweet baby! So cute!! beautiful markings, beautiful face, just all around beautiful. Can’t wait to see what her name will be. YIKES!! I might get to see her in person!! Now I am really excited. We need to figure out a good time. My vacation starts Monday!!
I’m thinking of calling her Puzzle. 🙂 I love the way her spots seem to fit together, especially on her left side – that little jag with the little spot and the bigger spot. Oh, I hope you get to see her, too!
Puzzle would be a great name! Or Jigsaw would have the same meaning, but I love Puzzle too!
