These beauties are in the bay stallion’s band at Green Mountain. I got to sit on a rock for a while with them. We had a bit of sunshine before some welcome rain rolled through the area.

The second horse on the left is a mare that I adopted last year- I have been searching for wild pictures of her! She has the really distinct whirl- I’m pretty sure it is her! Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for documenting the wild horses like this! I adopted the mare that is the second from the left last year, and have been searching for pictures of her in the wild! You have made my day!!!

Wow – that is so awesome! Thank you for giving her a home. You might also check with Lynn Hanson – wildhorses.wildplaces on Instagram. The Green Mountain herd is one that she and her husband, Chad, follow intimately. I’ll try to find those original photo files among my hard drives and if I see more of her, I’ll send them to you. … Are you the Paige Burnham who will be doing a demo at the Piceance-East Douglas mustang adoption in Grand Junction next weekend? If so, I’ll see you there! 🙂

Sorry it posted 3 times! I was struggling with the website. I’ll check her out! Yes, I’m going to be doing a demo at the adoption, I’ll have my Green Mountain mare, Fantasia, as well as my Little Book Cliffs mare Zyana up there on Friday! I will look forward to meeting you!

No worries; it just wanted me to approve them because you’re a first-time commenter. 🙂 Wonderful – and I’ll look forward to meeting you and your mustangs!
