Little boy brown has a name! Thanks to members of the Four Corners Back Country Horsemen for naming Two Boots’ colt … drum roll, please … Cuatro!
Can you see why?

All four!

Four bright whites
Is he cute or what?

Cuatro and Two Boots
Baby and mama with some colorful globe mallow thrown in for good measure.
Cuatro was born – surprise! – the day of the wild horse count by the 4CBCH – also attended by three members of the Mesa Verde Back Country Horsemen, so it was only fitting that they came up with his name. Very simple; very perfect!
TJ – Does this mean you’re back from vacation? We’ve sure missed your posts!
So, “Cuatro” – Welcome to your world!! Great name! Perfect! I LOVE that face! Gosh, 2B sure seems to be so much lighter in color than when we first saw her last October! Are these pics really recent? Were they taken in an area we’d know? He looks great – guess 2B figured out the mama thing! REALLY nice photos, as always! E-mail to follow, eventually 🙂
Lynn and Kathy
Howdy – I’m back! I’ve sure missed the ponies! But I had fun with my own ponies at home. 🙂 2B will continue to get lighter and lighter and eventually end up like Houdini … and Alpha. I love that Grey has his black mane and legs still; he just looks like framed silver! These pix were taken in a little meadow on the hill-side of the doubletrack that goes back to the east-pocket pond – so kinda northish of the pond and not very far from it. I think they were taken May 29?
Can’t wait to get back out and see them this weekend!
